FC Madrid Crowned Champions of Nala Taxi One-Day Futsal Tournament 2025

The much-anticipated Nala Taxi One Day Futsal Tournament 2025 concluded last night at the Hulhumalé Phase 2 futsal ground, with FC Madrid emerging as champions after a commanding 3-1 victory over FC Bathi in the final match.
The one-day event brought together eight teams, divided into two groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals.

In the first semi-final, FC Madrid displayed dominant form, defeating Hybird 5-2 to book their place in the final. Meanwhile, FC Bathi, who maintained a 100 percent winning record throughout the tournament, overcame Nala Hope 3-1 in the second semi-final to secure their spot in the title clash.
The grand final, played under the lights before an energetic crowd, saw FC Madrid’s skill and teamwork shine through, sealing their victory with a 3-1 scoreline.

The closing ceremony was graced by the FAM senior vice president Ali Ibrahim and the senior political director of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mohamed Yaish, as chief guests. Nala Taxi #9 was awarded Top Scorer of the tournament with an impressive nine goals, while standout performances were also recognized from players wearing jerseys 418, 297, 17, 211, and 32.
As a gesture of appreciation, tokens were presented to the referees, and Nala Taxi jerseys were gifted to the chief guests.
Organized by Nala Taxi, the tournament aimed to foster camaraderie among drivers and promote a healthy, active lifestyle within the community. The event showcased sportsmanship, unity, and the growing enthusiasm for futsal among the company’s team members.
