Information we collect We collect the details you give us when you create an account or book a ride — your name, phone number, email address and payment details. When you use the Nala Taxi app we also collect trip information such as pick-up and drop-off points, route and fare.

How we use your information We use your information to match you with nearby drivers, process fares, provide customer support, keep rides safe, and improve our service. We may send you service updates, receipts and, if you opt in, offers from Nala Taxi.

Location data The Nala Taxi and Nala Taxi Drivers apps use location data to show nearby cars, set your pick-up point and follow your trip. You can turn location access off in your device settings, but some features will stop working.

Sharing your information We share only what is needed to complete your ride — for example, your first name and pick-up point with the assigned driver. We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with payment providers or with authorities where the law requires it.

Data security and retention Your data is stored on secured servers and access is limited to staff who need it. We keep trip and account records for as long as your account is active, and for as long as the law requires afterwards.

Your rights You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting our support team.
